Micronations are powerful

Greetings,

I often write about Micronations and what makes them so special on social Media. Here are some more thoughts on one of these postings.

Many people may think that Micronations are silly or too small to have an impact on what’s going on around them. Yet these mini nations have a lot more power than you’d think at first glance for many reason.

* Citizens join because they believe in the Vision & Values.

* Micronations can’t levy taxes (exert pressure) nor pay salaries (exert motivation) to get citizens to take action.

* Citizens do stuff cause they want to do them. Leaders set up and lead them, not for money or fame, but because they want to see it exist and grow.

Do you know of any modern accepted nations where all three of these are true? Can you imagine what type of impact even a small Micronation can have if they focus the inherent power they have upon making positive change? Can you think of other ways Micronations have more power than conventional Nations and States?
